Cokin - Stepping Rings

Precision Step Up Rings for Professional Lens Kits

Adapting your lens filters to different thread sizes is a practical solution for photographers who manage multiple lenses. A step up ring allows you to mount a filter with a larger diameter onto a lens with a smaller thread. This is a vital strategy for consolidating your gear, as it allows a single high quality filter to serve several lenses in your kit. Our selection features robust components from Kenko and Cokin, designed to provide a secure connection without binding or cross-threading during critical shoots.

Versatile Step Down Rings and System Compatibility

For setups requiring smaller diameters, a step down ring provides the necessary bridge between larger lens threads and smaller accessories. This range includes dedicated solutions like the Sigma step down ring for specific telephoto lenses and the Hoya Instant Action conversion ring system. If you utilise square filter holders, we provide Formatt-Hitech wide angle adapter rings and Cokin NX adapter rings to ensure your system remains modular. Whether you are adjusting lens accessories for a landscape shoot or fitting nd filters, these tools are essential for maintaining a professional kit. We also stock components for optics accessories and specialised medium format filters to meet diverse technical requirements.

• Cokin NX Filter Frame and Evo adapter ring options for square systems.
• Formatt-Hitech step adapter for 100mm aluminium holders.
• Kenko stepping ring sets for standard circular threads.
• Hoya Instant Action adapter ring for rapid filter changes.
• Specialist Sigma step down ring for 50-500mm F4.5-6.3 APO DG OS HS lenses.
