Cokin EVO Filter Holder System

The Cokin BP100 M-Series Filter Holder is designed to accommodate multiple Cokin filters in order to help create the shot you envision. It can hold up to three square or rectangular filters, or one rectangular filter and one round circular polarizing filter at a time. A Cokin adapter ring is necessary to connect the filter holder to the front of a lens.

EVO filter-holder is available in two sizes :

• M (for lens filter sizes from Ø49 to Ø62)
• L (for lens filter sizes from Ø52 to Ø82).

It is compatible with Cokin CREATIVE and NUANCES filters.

EVO filter-holder main plate is made of aluminum, making it both sturdy and light. Modular, it can hold up to 3 filters in highly resistant polyamid slots. A custom designed mask prevents light leaks when using Cokin NUANCES or similar filters dedicated to long exposure photography. The included front plate allows a Ø95mm (M) or Ø105mm (L) EVO circular polarizing filter (sold separately) to be attached. The EVO C circular polarizing filter comes in an elegant soft-touch hard case.

Designed to meet photographers’ expectations, EVO offers several configurations, by changing the number of slots (from one to three) or their thickness (up to 4mm). EVO filter-holder is compatible with almost all Cokin CREATIVE adaptor rings and filters, so existing users can just upgrade to the new EVO filter-holder.

Standard configuration

With this configuration you can use up to three square or rectangular filters together. The presence of the foam mask prevents the risk of light leaks between the filter and the filter‑holder. It is possible to reduce the thickness of the filter‑holder by unscrewing the four nuts on the screws, and removing one or even two pairs of filter slot. This trick is interesting should you use a wide-angle or ultra-wide-angle lens and you observe some vignetting in your viewfinder.

Complete configuration with Ø95 (EVO M) or Ø105 (EVO L) filter plate

For this configuration the filter slot #3 of the standard configuration is replaced with the front plate. On this plate, you can screw the Cokin EVO C-PL filter in diameter 95mm (for EVO M) or diameter 105mm (for EVO L). In this configuration, the filter‑holder can hold up to two square or rectangular filters and the Cokin EVO C-PL filter.

An EVO carrying case (sold separately) will hold up to 4 adaptor rings, 6 filters, 1 EVO filter-holder and 1 EVO circular polarizing filter in its hard case.

Please note that the Cokin EVO filter‑holder in both configurations is not compatible with the following Cokin filters :
