Exposure

Overexposure will typically give finer grain and more dominant orange and red tones. Underexposure will show more greens, coarser grain, and prominent shadows.

• Underexposure – Coarser grain, prominent shadows, and subtle greens.
• Normal exposure – Normal grain, stronger orange tones, and softer shadows.
• Overexposure – Finer grain, higher contrast, and dominant red/orange tonalities.

Scanning

Harman Red should be processed in C41/CN16 processing chemicals. No processing adjustment is required for bracketed exposures.

• Unlike standard color films, the emulsion layer on redscale films is on the reverse. Therefore, for best results, when the orientation of the emulsion can be easily reversed by using a reloadable cartridge if necessary.
• Can be easily scanned on a range of commercial scanners.
• During the scanning process digital image correction and enhancement can be used to remove dust and scratches automatically from the image.
