OVERVIEW
The Movcam top plate directly attaches to the top of the Sony F5/F55 after the camera's original hand grip is removed. The plate features multiple 1/4" and M4 threads to mount various accessories. A Weaver rail mount on top allows mounting of the top handle (available separately). Also, a pair of 15mm rods (available separately) can be attached to the front and rear rod clamps of the top plate to mount accessories such as a battery bracket, follow focus, or mattebox.
