Movcam 15mm Standard Kit for FS7

The Movcam FS7 15mm Standard Kit is a custom camera rig for the Sony FS7 camera, complete with a follow focus, matte box, and V-Mount battery distribution box. It features a riser plate tailored to fit the bottom of the camera that docks into a V-lock compatible baseplate. In addition to a V-lock interface for quick-release attachment to VCT tripod plates, the baseplate adds front and rear 15mm rod clamps, a pair of ARRI standard rosettes, and an integrated shoulder pad. It can also be mounted onto an included dovetail plate. Also included in the kit is a form-fitting side bracket that adds 1/4"-20 threaded accessory mounting holes on the top and right side of the camera, and a rosette spacer.

For the top of the camera, a 15mm rod mount is provided along with an adapter with a parallel rod port for attaching and re-positioning the camera's EVF/monitor. Attaching to the rear of the camera is a power distribution box that features a V-Mount battery plate and fits into the same slot used by Sony's own V-Mount battery pack. The pack provides a means to power your camera using a V-mount battery and provides several power outputs in varying voltages for powering optional accessories.

Four 8" long 15mm rods are included for use with the front, rear, or top rod clamps provided with this kit. When used at the front of the camera, the rods support an included universal lens support, clamp-on follow focus with 0.8 pitch gear drive, and 2-stage swing-away matte box that features one fixed 4 x 5.65" filter tray and one rotating 4 x 5.65" filter tray.

FS7 Riser Plate

Attaching the Movcam FS7 Riser Plate to the bottom of the Sony FS7 camera increases the mounting surface area and keeps it flat. The top surface is specially shaped to fit exactly with the FS7's contours. With the expanded surface area, a shoulder pad or tripod plate can be placed anywhere along the bottom of the camera for optimal balance with different lenses or rig components. The base of the plate is also Arca-Swiss compatible for securing to Arca-Swiss standard support equipment. Aside from camera support, the front of the plate can house a lens/adapter support to reduce stress on the camera's lens mount.

Multi-BP Baseplate for FS7 Camera Rig

The Multi-BP for FS7 Camera Rig from Movcam is a multi-purpose base plate for the FS7 camera. On one end, there is 15mm rod clamp with locking lever, and on the other end, there are standard rosette on each side. The plate includes a shoulder pad.

Side Bracket for Sony FS7 Rig

H Rosette Spacer

Mini Follow Focus MF-2

The Movcam Mini Follow Focus MF-2 is a single-sided follow focus with a sliding base that accommodates different lens constructions.

The MF-2 quickly and securely mounts 15mm rods via a tightening mechanism controlled by a silver underside knob. A standard flexi-ring comes included for lenses that don't have ring teeth.

The gear drive is .8, and focus is achieved by constant damping that ensures precise focus. A focus scale helps measure focusing distances.

Universal Lens Support

Compatible with dual 15mm LWS rods, the Movcam Universal Lens Support is height adjustable to provide 0.75" support at the lowest position from the rod center, and 1.25" at the highest position. It secures onto a pair of rods from one side and offers a textured rubber lens support surface. You don't have to worry about it unscrewing because the lens will prevent it from turning sideways.

Mattebox MM1

The Movcam Mattebox MM1 features a 144mm rear opening and is compatible with lenses up to 14mm (35mm academy).

It is equipped with a 16:9 carbon fiber housing, a French flag and side wings for light control, one fixed / one rotating 4 x 5.65" filter holder, a 15mm mini swing-away bracket, and a 144:114 rubber bellows that can optionally be stepped down.

The swing-away bracket provides industry-standard 15mm rod support.
