SLR Magic MicroPrime APO 85mm T2.1 Lens for Canon EF Mount**

The SLR Magic APO MicroPrime 85mm T2.1 is a professional prime lens designed for those pursuing cinema-grade portrait rendering. With its APO apochromatic design, it effectively suppresses chromatic aberration and purple fringing, delivering clean, detailed images whether you shoot in 4K or even higher resolutions. Its color is predominantly neutral with a slight warmth, rendering skin tones naturally and attractively without excessive beautification or color cast, giving you maximum flexibility in post-production while still producing very pleasing images straight out of the camera.

The fast T2.1 aperture delivers an alluring shallow depth of field: subjects in focus appear sharp and clear, while the background blur is smooth and gentle, with round, calm bokeh. This makes it ideal for portraits, interviews, and emotionally driven scenes. The lens’s overall contrast and micro-contrast are well controlled, giving the image depth without appearing overly harsh, and creating a refined, understated cinematic style. Whether you’re shooting commercials, portrait shorts, music videos, or documentary-style storytelling, the SLR Magic APO MicroPrime 85mm T2.1 can serve as one of your core lenses for building a distinctive visual “brand style,” with reliable image quality, natural color, and a richly textured look.
