MetaVue has been developed to isolate multiple colors by extracting the dominant ones. This approach provides more precise color matches and takes into account the impact of texture and other appearance effects that typically skew measurements of materials like carpet, vinyl, or fabric. MetaVue offers increased flexibility and ease of use, with aperture sizes ranging from 2mm to 12mm, to accommodate a wide range of customer samples.

MetaVue delivers precise digital targeting using an on-board full-color camera that quickly and easily selects the exact target area to be measured. This feature helps to ensure the accuracy of the measurement results. MetaVue stores image samples enabling easy retrieval of images for future reference and an audit trail. Additionally, a retractable location-aware sample positioner is included to maintain instrument cleanliness. To reduce the learning curve and make the solution easy to operate, front panel buttons and status indicator lights are provided, making it user-friendly for operators of all skill levels.
