Increased Loading CapacityWith use of the POLARIE Multi Mounting Block and Dovetail Slide Bar DD, the maximum loading weight of the POLARIE is increased to 6.5kg. An optional counyerweight 1.0kg is a must to balance with photographic instruments such as a heavy DSLR camera. The maximum laoding weight will be decreased to 4kg if the POLARIE Fine Adjustment Unit is combined.

Accurate Polar Alignment with EaseAccurate polar alignment is essential for successful long exposre astrophotography with the POLARIE. The POLARIE polar scope PF-L II comes equipped with a special reticle which is designed for a simple and accurate polar alignment. You bring Polaris and two other stars into the polar scope's field of view so that each can be matched with the designated position on the scale in the reticle. That's all you have to do for the polar alignment.
