The Kenko AI Flash Kit consists of the AI Flash AB600-R, a Battery Pack BP-1 and a Wireless Transceiver WTR-1- all 3 basic items in one package.

AI FLASH AB600-R

The AI Flash AB600-R is a flash that uses an intelligent auto bounce function. As a shooting technique especially used in portraits, bouncing the flash against a surface such as a wall or ceiling in just the right angle for the best result can be challenging and time consuming for photographers who are just getting into it.

The built-in 3D auto bounce function of the AI Flash AB600-R will calculate the most appropriate angle from all directions, completely taking over that task from the photographer and allowing the best shot with only one shutter release. This function is quite useful for weddings or portrait shooting sessions with a tight schedule, when the photographer has no room for failure.

The WTR-1 is a wireless transceiver which can be used together with the AI Flash AB600-R. Supporting a 2.4GHz radio transmission in manual and TTL mode at the distance of 30m by using 15 channels and 3 groups, the WTR-1 allows you to effectively control the AI Flash remotely.

BATTERY PACK BP-1

Kenko's Battery Pack BP-1 is designed for usage together with the AI Flash AB600-R. It extends the runtime greatly while also reducing the time it takes to recharge. The battery pack can store 4 or 8 AA type batteries, which can be exchanged for instant recharge.

The Battery Pack BP-1 is especially recommended for photographers who often find themselves in long shootings with a tight schedule where there is no time for any interruption.
