Widely requested after the incredibly successful launch of the Basic Film Carrier 35, this device completes our "basic" film scanning tool ecosystem.

We've taken our wildly popular Film Carrier 120 and simplified to focus on its most important features. We wanted to create an approachable, affordable alternative for users who aren't ready to dive head-first into our complete system of pro offerings, while also guaranteeing great workflow and sharpness. This is the perfect addition to our Basic Film Carrier 35, rounding out our "basic" lineup of product to include medium format support.

The Basic Film Carrier 120 features a carbon fiber composite housing with a tolex-wrapped exterior, similar to that of our Basic Film Carrier 35 and 4x5 Light Source Basic, while employing a magnetic hinge mechanism akin to our much-loved Film Carrier 120.

Utilizing a digital camera to capture your scans, most Basic Film Carrier 120 owners can utilize a digital camera they already own. Many modern digital cameras, from entry level to professional, will empower you to create beautiful film scans with this device.

Keeping your film perfectly flat with our unique magnetic hinged clamping design, the Basic Film Carrier 120 allows you to scan a full length roll of film in as fast as 60 seconds. Building off the wide ecosystem of Negative Supply film scanning tools, this device is the perfect starting point for photographers of all skill levels to scan medium format film.

Basic Film Carrier 35: Being both affordable and incredibly simple to use, the Basic Film Carrier 35 guarantees fast and sharp scans of your 35mm film, both for cut strips or uncut rolls. Additionally there is available support for full border scanning, allowing you to see the sprocket holes of your 35mm film.
