The Basic Film Carrier 35 MK2 is a tool capable of scanning all 35mm film formats including half frame, full frame (standard 35mm), and panoramic sizes in a single capture while maximizing film flatness. The Basic Film Carrier 120 MK2 is our entry-level 120 film scanning solution. With a new design featuring the same double s-curve technology as our Basic Film Carrier 35 MK2, the Basic Film Carrier 120 MK2 is leaps and bounds faster and easier to use than our previous hinged design.
The Basic Film Carrier 120 MK2 comes with a mask set for 645, 6x6, 6x7 and 6x9 allowing you to mask off light for all of the most popular medium format aspect ratios. Our included Stabilizing Masks allow you to seamlessly mount your Basic Film Carrier 35 MK2 and Basic Film Carrier 120 MK2 to our included 4x5 Light Source Basic MK2 to mask off all extraneous light coming from the light below. It also stabilizes the carrier on the light source.
