The Rotolight Roto-Mic is an excellent upgrade to built-in microphones supplied with DSLR cameras and compact camcorders. Rotolight refer to this as a broadcast quality mic and it is shock mounted and supplied with spare rubber mountings. This condenser shotgun microphone has -10dB / 0dB / +10dB gain control and a switchable 80Hz and above high pass filter to cut out rumble. Will also attach to the inside of a Rotolight Ringlight.
The Rotolight Roto-Mic is a ‘Broadcast-Quality’ condenser shotgun microphone for use with DSLR cameras and camcorders. Adjust for both loud and soft sound sources with the three position level control (-10dB / 0dB / +10dB), and eliminate ‘rumble’ using the two step high pass filter (80hz / flat). The Roto-Mic’s integrated sturdy ‘shock mount’ with hot-shoe adapter and included windshields are ideal for location and ‘run-and-gun’ shoots.
