Crop Factor: Using the Minitar-1 Lens on a camera with a sensor smaller than full frame will result in photos capturing only a portion of the image that a full frame sensor would, due to the fact that the small sensor magnifies the angle of view. 

Extra Close Focusing Distances with the Lomo LC-A Minitar-1 Art Lens on Mirrorless Cameras: You can achieve extra close focusing distances on mirrorless cameras by using specified M mount to mirrorless camera adapters. Ordinary adapters let your lens assume a precise fixed flange distance on mirrorless cameras. Alternately, you can use a Close Focus Adapter to extend the close focusing distance of your lens. The Helicoid threads on a Close Focus Adapter act as an extra focusing ring, which then allows you to further extend the distance between the lens and the sensor to achieve a closer focusing distance than what the default specifications of the lens allow. Please note that optic quality may slightly decrease below your lens factory specifications when you focus closer than the default closest lens focusing distance using an adapter.
